At the age of five, Quynh Le began her piano studies under Anne Bader and completed the Yamaha Music Program. Later, she was accepted to The Colburn School of Performing Arts Pre-College Program, where she studied with Ory Shihor in Los Angeles and received coaching for piano duos from Mina Perry. In 2016,  Quynh received her Bachelor of Music degree at The Cleveland Institute of Music, where she studied with Dr. Daniel Shapiro.

Ms. Le has competed in many competitions and won many prestigious awards. She won 1st place in the SYMF Concerto and Bach Competition, 2nd place in the Antelope Valley Bach Competition, went to Regionals in the Southern California Bach Festival, competed in the Long Beach Mozart competition and played in the Federation of Clubs in Pasadena in receiving superior scores. She completed the entire Certificate of Merit program, achieving the highest honors, and was selected to play in the Conventional Recital. Ms. Le most recently played at the National Art Museum in San Jose, Costa Rica.

 

 

Ms. Le has participated in many music festivals, such as, Beethoven Sonata Marathon at The Colburn School in Los Angeles, the Amalfi Coast Music Festival in Italy. She was the Student Council Advisor for both the Southern California Music Festival and John Perry Academy of Music Piano Festival, and also she received a Teaching Assistant Scholarship and was able help teach younger students at the Festival. Ms. Le was selected and given a scholarship to attend the Costa Rica Youth Piano Festival in San Jose, Costa Rica. Most recently, Quynh participated in the Music Alp International Academy of Music in Tignes, France and will be studied with reknowned French pianist Pascal Devoyon. Besides music festivals, she has also performed in numerous master classes from teachers all around the world, among them were, John Perry, Gabriel Kwok, Rufus Choi, Edu-ardo Delgado, Dr. Grace Fong, Michael Lewin, Konstantin Sirouninan, Jean-David Coen, Wojciech Kocyan, Andrew Park, Antonio Pompa-Baldi, Ksnenia Nosikova, and Logan Skelton.

Throughout her 15 years of study, she has also worked as a piano teacher and tutor helping young pianists progress in their piano studies and love for music. In Cleveland, she assists Music Therapists at Music Settlement, playing piano for special needs adults and children. Ms. Le has always had a continuous passion to try to inspire everyone around her with music. In May 2018, Quynh will be receiving her Masters in Music Performance at the Claremont Graduate University. She currently studies with Dr. Grace Fong and Dr. Jenny Kim. She currently teaches private piano lessons.
